The Bobby Davro Tour
SADLY CANCELLED AFTER FOUR SHOWS!
As many people are now aware, I have played alongside the blues guitarist / vocalist and BBC radio presenter Nic Dow for the last few years.
A memorable show was at the Grand theatre in Blackpool on June 13th 2004, where we opened a variety show featuring many great musicians and comedians, such as Billy Pierce and Sid Little.
The success of the show prompted a spring tour to be organised (with a few personnel changes due to previous commitments). Unfortunately, Nic was also unavailable for this length of time, leaving a vacancy for an opening band.
After organiser Ian Brooks heard my radio broadcast on 'The Lancashire Bluenotes' I was invited to form the opening band to tour alongside Bobby Davro, Anne Nolan and Mike Lancaster to name a few!
National theatre tour of 24 dates. From Hastings to Dundee, spanning April to June 2005. The tour was sadly cancelled due to the liquidation of the organisation company.
