Authentic blues from "Greenie" to BB King
Since The Winchesters last gig in January 2003, I have played alongside Nick and his "Blues Roots Band" at some of the UK's major festivals and theatres, including Colne, Thornton and The Wyre Blues Festival held at the Marine Hall, Fleetwood. We've also played at the Grand Theatre Blackpool, where we opened a variety show featuring Sid Little and Billy Pearce.
Nick
Nick made his name over many years on the Folk circuit. Apart from presenting Radio Lancashire's 'Lancashire Blue Notes' program (Sun 8pm.), he builds gypsy wagons during the day. It's his dedication to authentic blues that is the driving force of the band - great blues, with an entertaining approach.
Jim Wheeler
Jim has played bass with just about everybody over the years. From the best of blues to cabaret and has even stood in for Bill Wyman.
Luke Paget
Luke is a phenomenal drummer! His solos steal the show. Now a full time member of the band and also performing regularly with his own band Tantrum
